Senators Cynthia Villar and Mark Villar recently administered the oath taking of the newly-elected board of trustees of the Association of Licensed Manning Agencies (ALMA) Maritime Group at Villar SIPAG farm house in Bacoor, Cavite.

The new board of trustees are:

Chairman – Atty. Iris Baguilat of Döhle Seafront Crewing (Manila);

President – Cristina Garcia of Blue Ocean Marine and Offshore Solutions;

Vice-President – Capt. Antonio T. Ladera III of Kestrel Shipping;

Trustee/Treasurer – C/Engr Jessie Rex Martin of Anglo-Eastern Crew Management Philippine;

Trustee/Corporate Secretary – Jay Babera of OSM Maritime Services;

Trustee – C/E Jean Vincent Abobo of Solstad Offshore Crewing Services Phil.;

Trustee – Capt. Jose Remo Librodo of Next Wave Maritime Management;

Trustee – Capt. Gregory Nick Sevilla of Avior Marine; and

Trustee – Capt. Leopoldo Tenorio of Marlow Navigation Phils.

ALMA is comprised of around 60 manning agencies deploying more than 100,000 Filipino seafarers onboard international sea-going vessels at any given time.
