The flight chartered by Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG, Menzell & Döhle Group, and BTH Business Travel Hamburg and with close coordination with Döhle Seafront flew 170 Filipino seafarers out to Hamburg tonight, June 28, 2020. This is the second batch of seafarers flying out of Manila which helps address the problems on delayed crew change that might affect the physical and mental health of seafarers as well as safety of the vessels.

This project supports the local manning agencies in moving as one to support our seafarers who are having difficulties coming home due to the travel restrictions imposed by the Philippine government and other countries. The initiative benefits other companies with seafarers set to join their vessels anywhere in the Netherlands, Belgium, Antwerp, Rotterdam and Germany.
